Prep Time: 5ish min

Cook Time: 20ish min

Yield: 4-6 servings

Ingredients

1 french baguette (or ciabatta)
8oz mushrooms
2-3 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 cup grated parmesean
2 balls of burrata
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp red chili flake
5 tbsp olive oil
parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°.

  2. Clean & thinly slice the mushrooms. Heat 2 tbsp olive in a large pan over medium heat. Once oil is hot, add mushrooms and saute until brown, then add garlic and spices. Keep cooking until garlic is fragrant. Set aside.

  3. Cut the baguette in half lengthwise. Brush the inside with the remaining olive oil, and then layer on the parm. The mushroom garlic mixture goes on top of the parm, then dollop on the burrata.

  4. Bake at 375° for 15ish min, until bread is nice and crispy. Switch the oven to broil for the last couple minutes to make sure the cheese gets bubbly & delicious.

  5. Cut into pieces and garnish with parsley if you want an extra pop of color. Makes for a great appetizer. Or entire meal. You do you. I won’t tell.
