Crispy Parmesan Breadcrumbs

Prep Time: 5ish min (or 0 min if your parm is already grated)

Cook Time: 7ish min

Yield: Enough topping for 6-8 servings of pasta


Ingredients

2 tbsp butter
1 cup panko
1 cup grated parmesan
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp black pepper
salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the breadcrumbs. Toast until they are nice and golden brown. This happens fast, so keep the breadcrumbs moving so they don’t get burnt on one side.

  3. Add the seasonings and parm. Stir continuously. The parm will stick the breadcrumbs together and and turns them into little cheesy bites of heaven.

  4. Use immediately as a topping to all your favorite pasta dishes. Or eat it by the spoonful. Either way is good.
