Miso Butter Pasta

Ingredients

1 lb pasta
5 tbsp butter
4 tbsp miso paste
1.5 cups pasta water
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pasta according to the package, making sure to reserve at least 1.5 cups of pasta water.

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter. Once the butter is melted, add the miso paste, spices, and pasta water. Whisk until miso paste is fully broken down and the sauce is thick and creamy.

  3. Toss the pasta with the sauce. Taste and add salt as needed.

  4. Plate & serve, garnish with toasted sesame seeds or furikake if you wanna.
